Many of us have nursed a rather complicated relationship with money over the years. So, if you were not prone to budgeting before you were fifty years old, getting started might be a bit of a challenge. In the past, and for myself, getting money was not necessarily difficult— it was holding it that created the challenge. And that’s what’s really important, the holding. But I’ve learned that creating wealth has less to do with how much money you earn on a job, or a hustle; and more to do with developing a mindset of abundance, thankfulness, and generousity.
Here, in this little book, Now, About That Budget… I’ve put together a few contemplations, meditations, and affirmations that helped me stop looking at money as simply a trading tool. Not to worry though, I won’t berate you for how much you spent on shoes last month. But if you’re thinking about, at least, creating a budget, this booklet will get you in the right mind space to begin.
